Applied Structural Drying

This 4-day course is a hands on experience for those wanting to further their knowledge of water damage restoration. Based around the National Flood School's own approved Flood House this course covers advanced drying techniques, equipment and approaches to various materials and constructions.

The Flood House is an 8-room independent structure designed to replicate typical British buildings through its make-up of different materials and construction designs. The house is flooded with a measured 1500 litres (UK) of water over a 24 hour period before being dried by the students. The design of the Flood House ensures the teaching is both a relevant and realistic experience that students will understand and remember.
