1. Can you recommend anywhere to stay overnight?
Yes we have a list of local hotels that we can send to you by email, or see the Accommodation link below.
2. Is lunch provided?
Yes a light lunch is provided; please notify us in advance of any dietary restrictions. Hot and cold refreshments are also provided throughout the day.
3. What should I wear?
The classroom is situated on a working yard and as such casual clothing with flat shoes should be worn. Protective coveralls will be provided where necessary.
4. What time does the course start?
Each course has its own start and finish time so please check when booking. However, most courses begin at 09.00hrs and finish at approximately 17.00hrs so arrival from 8.30am to start promptly would be appreciated.
5. Will I need to bring anything?
Everything you need will be provided.
6. When do I have to pay?
Payment should be made at the time of booking, as until full payment has been received the booking is not confirmed. If you are booking more than one month in advance then £100 per person deposit must be paid at the time of booking.
7. Will a manual be sent in advance?
A PDF version of the training manual can be requested once full payment has been made; a hard copy will be supplied on the day.
8. Why are the exam fees not included in the course fee?
The exam fee is paid to the examining body, the IICRC, and not the Flood School, we will send you a separate invoice for this and will pay it for you when we submit the exams or you can pay on the day of sitting the examination by cash, debit / credit card or cheque made payable to IICRC.
