Welcome to the National Flood School
The National Flood School is proud to have led the nation's training in fire and flood restoration for over 30 years. Based in Farnham, Surrey, we offer Europe's first purpose-built 'flood house' - a property which we regularly flood with almost 7,000 litres of water during our hands-on training courses. The IICRC-approved construction allows the National Flood School to deliver the industry-leading training that the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification is renowned for internationally. It sets the standard that others aspire to achieve.
As well as developing professionals in their restoration and cleaning careers, the National Flood School also offers training and professional development to insurance professionals, including Loss Adjusters and Claims Handlers.
The comprehensive consultancy services offered by the National Flood School, used widely by insurers, loss adjusters, restorers and home owners, provide valuable and timely advice. Complex claims are often referred to our consultants nationwide for their expert opinion and guidance.
The first European Restoration Conference was held in 2012 at The Belfry, Birmingham. This hugely popular event was hosted by the National Flood School. A video summary of the last conference can be seen here.
