This one day course is run for the National Flood School
by The Leather Training & Technical Department Ltd, experts in leather upholstery. Their Technical
Director, Andy Alcock has not only been working in the leather repair industry for over 20
years, but is also a qualified teacher and LeatherMaster trained technician.
Practical Leather Repair is a hands-on course that will
teach students how to deal with everything from aniline restoration to minor
scratches and scuffs. This course is designed to follow on directly from the
IICRC Leather Cleaning Technician course; by putting theory onto practice
students will see what they learn and get the chance to practice with the help
of an expert.
Course contents include:
Minor scratches & scuffs
Aniline restoration
An introduction to colour mixing
Full cleaning demonstration
And more . . . !
Students must attend this course with the two day IICRC
Leather Cleaning Technician, as the practical part of the course compliments the
theory students will have covered the two days previously.
